Hi everyone, here is a quick new update to our funding policies.
(8) Honorarium Cap: Groups may request funding for speaker invitation honoraria up to $1000 per individual. Requests are subject to UFB’s discretionary review based on event needs and budget constraints. Any request exceeding the cap must include justifications and will be evaluated case by case, as funding is not guaranteed. This policy excludes Category 4 groups.
In previous years, UFB reviewed all speaker honorarium requests on a case by case basis. However, setting a limit allows UFB to approve speakers on an equitable basis, allowing for better understanding between clubs and ourselves.
